We start by congratulating Grace S who competed in the Bath Two Tunnel 10k over half term. Achieving a new personal best of 46:49, she won the female U20 category, came fifth across all female runners and 45th out of 538 overall. This is a fantastic personal achievement - well done Grace!
Just before Half Term our Girls' 1st XI Football team played against Cardinal Newman in the first round of the ESFA Cup. Lancing equalised early in the second half to make it an exciting last 20 minutes. Coinciding with a large crowd gathering, the girls upped their intensity and scored with 3 minutes to go, to win the game 2-1. Star player was Lisa S, who scored both goals. The Girls 1st Football team is awarded Team of the Week.
The U16 boys played against King Edward's School Whitley in the ESFA U16 Schools Football Cup on Thursday. They won 4-2 with one goal from George C, and three from Harry S, earning him Man of the Match.
Well done to the boys, who will play KES Whitley again next week in the ISFA cup.
