First week back after the Half Term and we have lots to celebrate over the break.
Cross-Country News
Results from the Sussex Cross–Country League have just come in. This event has been going on all through winter and with various competitions, Bibi W finished a commendable 3rd in the U15 girls.
Tennis News
George H has been invited to play this year’s national-level County Cup event. He will be off to Cardiff next weekend, we wish him the best of luck.
Swimming News
The Swimming Club was busy over Half Term, with Bethany K, Bianca S-A and Isaac B competing in the Sussex County Swimming Championships.
Bethany secured top ten positions in all four of her events, which is an impressive feat considering she has now moved up to the Ladies' Open age group.
Bianca came away with 11 medals from 11 races in the girls' 14yrs age group, most notably winning gold in the 400m Individual Medley, and the 200m freestyle. She was crowned Junior U16 champion in both the 1500m and 800m Freestyle.
Lancing are currently 2nd on points for the overall Junior Girls' County Championships and 6th for age group points (boys and girls) out of 16 Clubs.
