Fellow parents,
I would like to introduce myself as I have recently taken up the role as Chair of the Lancing Parents Association. My name is Roy Haworth and I have a daughter in 4th Form in Manor House.
The Parents Association is open to all current parents and also to past Lancing parents. Our aims are to support the College and encourage parents to participate in the College community and we are supported a great deal by the Foundation office for admin and logistics. This means our focus is on arranging social events that hopefully many of you will enjoy.
During the year we organise various occasions to help raise funds to support projects of benefit to the students and College community. There are a number coming soon that you could come along to and meet us and other parents:

The organising committee is a small, dynamic group who meet every half term to plan and organise these events and all parents are welcome to come along and join our next meeting. We are always happy to welcome volunteers for the specific events or if you wish to get involved more regularly, we are also looking for new Committee members to take over as current parents often step down once their children leave the school. In the next two years we will need to appoint a new Treasurer and a Vice Chair.
Our next meeting is on 9th January 2024 at 7.30pm in the Megarry Room where we will be finalising details for Burns Night and planning the remaining events for the year, you are all very welcome to come along.
